Robert Moses' Kin Company Biographies
Jeremy
Bannon-Neches was born in Brooklyn, NY and grew up in Augusta, GA where
he received his initial training at the Augusta Ballet School. In 2005 he
graduated with honors from the North Carolina School of the Arts where he
performed leading roles in The Nutcracker, Don Quixote, and
Lynn Tailor Corbett’s Lost and Found. Jeremy has spent the last 7
years with Nevada Ballet Theater, performing principle roles in George
Balanchine’s Rubies and Serenade, Mathew Neenan’s At the
Border, along with works by Gail Gilbert, James Canfield, Thaddeus Davis and
Greg Sample. He danced for the National Choreographers Initiative in 2009 and
choreographed for the annual Cirque du Soleil/ Nevada Ballet collaboration in
2010 and 2012. Jeremy most recently worked with Yuri Zhukov and Wideman/Davis
Dance. This is his first season with Robert Moses’ Kin.
Brendan
Barthel is a student of movement, studying Japanese martial arts,
healing arts and dance. He maintains a goal of movement fluency in order to best
convey and express that which needs to be put forth. In dance, Brendan has
worked and performed with choreographers throughout the Greater Bay Area,
including Tandy Beal, Mary Carbonara, Todd Courage, Todd Eckert, Janice Garrett,
Richard Gibson, Paco Gomes, Joanna Haigood, Fran Spector-Atkins, and Margaret
Wingrove. Brendan believes in the power and purpose of RMK, which he joined
in the fall of 2007.

Crystaldawn Bell was born and raised in Southern
California where she began ballet lessons at the age of three. She grew up
learning many different forms of dance and later attended California Institute of
the Arts (Cal Arts) where she received her B.F.A in dance, composition, and
performance. Since relocating to the Bay Area in 2009, she has worked and
performed with ODC, Labayen Dance/SF, and Anne Bluethenthal and Dancers. This is
Crystaldawn's second season with Robert Moses' Kin and she is very excited and
honored to be a part of the team.
Vincent Chavez
was born in Albuquerque, NM and received his dance education from Dance Theatre
Southwest, Ballet Hispanico, Academy of Nevada Ballet Theatre and the LINES
Ballet Training Program. Vincent has had the opportunity to dance with New Mexico
Ballet Company, Moving People Dance Theatre and Nevada Ballet Theatre
experiencing works by Gail Gilbert, Peter Anastos, Thaddeus Davis, Balanchine and
James Canfield. This is Vincent's first season with Robert Moses' Kin.
Norma Fong began her studies at Pacific Ballet
Academy in Mountain View, CA. She also studied classical Chinese folk dance and
was a soloist for the Chinese Performing Artists of America. She graduated from
California Institute of the Arts in May of 2005 with a BFA in dance, performance,
and choreography and went on to dance with Pasadena Dance Theatre. In San
Francisco, she has had the opportunity to work with with Shift>>>
Physical Theater, Margaret Jenkins Dance Company, and the Guangdong Modern Dance
Company. She began her association with RMK as an apprentice in 2006.

Josie Garthwaite
Sadan was born in Oakland, CA. She trained on scholarship at Marin
Ballet and NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Josie holds a bachelor's degree in
dance and journalism from NYU and a master's in communication from Stanford
University. She has performed works by George Balanchine, William Forsythe and
Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane. Since returning to the Bay Area in 2007, Josie has
enjoyed working with choreographers Manuelito Biag, Amy Foley, Maija Garcia,
Stacey Printz and Kat Worthington. This is Josie's second season with Robert
Moses' Kin.
Carly Johnson
is a native to California and received early training at the age of two. She
continued her studies at SOTA, LINES Ballet and went on to completed her B.F.A.
from SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Dance. Carly has had the opportunity to
perform works by Ja'Malik, Carmen Rozestraten, Nelly Van Bommel of
NØA Dance and Andrea Miller of Gallim Dance. This is Carly's first
season with Robert Moses' Kin.

Dexandro "D" Montalvo Born and raised in New
York, began dancing professionally at 14 and began instructing dance classes one
year later. His work has appeared in numerous music videos, television shows, and
international venues and he has appeared on the MTV, BET, Telemundo and Fox
networks. As a dance educator, D has taught at many schools including SUNY
Purchase College, SOTA, LINES Ballet & ODC Dance Commons. After obtaining his
BFA in Dance from SUNY Purchase College, he was offered a contract with Liss Fain
Dance Company in San Francisco. Since then, "D" has had the pleasure of working
with many talented choreographers including: Liss Fain, Robert Moses, Michael
Velez, and Kara Davis.
Victor
Talledos was born in Mexico City where he started his dance training at
Conservatorio de Danza with Guillermo Maldonado. In 2008 Victor received a degree
in dance from the Escuela Superior de Musica y Danza in Monterrey, Mexico, and
subsequently moved to NYC to study at the the Alvin Ailey School. In 2011 Victor
moved to San Francisco to join Labayen Dance SF and Copious Dance Theater. Victor
has shown his our choreography at the Ailey Citygroup Theater, DNA Theater for
the "Latin Choreographers Festival," at the Garage/artspace for Move(MEN)T 4
festival and he as a guest choreographer for Labayen Dance SF. This is Victor's
first season with Robert Moses' Kin.
Katherine Wells grew up in Sunnyvale, CA
and began her professional career with Mark Foehringer Dance Project in
1996. She has danced with Colorado Ballet, Oakland Ballet, Amy Seiwert's im-ij're
and Lar Lubovitch Dance Company. She has staged several works by Mark Foehringer
and taught master classes while on tour with Lar Lubovitch. Katherine joined RMK
in 2004.
