This remarkable new interdisciplinary work showcases Moses’ dynamic choreographic style and athletic, intelligent dance, in a project that explores non-traditional family structures and the formation of identity. The Cinderella Principle represents a creative process that has evolved from in-depth interviews with families throughout the Bay Area, and represents a tapestry of voices about identity, race, class, gender, and ultimately, love.

The Cinderella Principle marks a significant new direction for the company, weaving text - based on family interviews by award-winning documentary playwright Anne Galjour - into the performance. Nationally recognized violinist/composer Todd Reynolds has created an original score and will be performing live with star beat boxer Kid Beyond . Video projections are created by Guggenheim fellow and Alpert Award winner Bill Morrison."
